DULUTH, Minn. — A Brandon Longley hat trick and Blake Bashor's first career shutout help guide St. Norbert College in its 3-0 win over St. Scholastica on Friday night in a Northern Collegiate Hockey Association game at Mars Lakeview Arena.

It also moved the No. 1-ranked Green Knights a step closer to history.
With the win, St. Norbert improved to 8-0 overall, 3-0 in the NCHA, and extended its consecutive game unbeaten streak to 37 games — one shy of the Division III record set by Massachusetts-Dartmouth in the mid-1980s.
Ryan Petersen had assists on all three of Longley's marks. Defenseman Sam Tikka assisted on two.
Bashor made 31 saves for the shutout.
The Knights have won a school-record 16 straight contests heading into today's game with UW-Superior at Wessman Arena.
